Posted on January 13th, 2008
Very short story where boy meets green Martian girl, boy gets in trouble with the other natives and nearly loses life, boy figures out perplexing wildlife problem he came to Mars to study, boy gets green Martian girl.
While you need to crank up the suspension of disbelief knob to eleven on this one, it is written by Jay Williams, co-author of the Danny Dunn series. Williams knows how to write the young and inquisitive “aw-shucks” types and he knows how to present and solve problems through them. So if your knob goes up to eleven, go ahead and give it a spin.
